How much does online course creation cost?
Our complete done-for-you production package is $6,000–$10,000. The final investment depends on scope, content volume and travel. The package combines on-site recording, professional editing, branded graphics and course platform setup. This is the published Elevate Courses offer, not an industry average or a competitor price comparison.
A useful quote starts with the work your course actually needs. A short presenter-led course and a large library of demonstrations create different production demands even if both are described as one course. Define the content and delivery requirements before comparing totals.
What the complete package includes
The current package includes travel to your U.S. location, three full days of professional video production, lesson editing, branded graphics, thumbnails and module artwork, and setup in Kajabi or your platform of choice. Editing includes color grading, audio cleanup, branded intros, graphics and lower-thirds.
Course structure and lesson organization connect the production plan with the final platform build. Read about the done-for-you package for the overall scope, or review course filming, editing and Kajabi setup individually.
The factors that affect your quote
Content volume: the number of lessons matters, but so do their length and complexity. Ten short explanations are different from ten detailed demonstrations.
Recording requirements: presenters, room changes, demonstrations and production setups influence what fits into a filming schedule.
Post-production: the amount of raw footage, slide integration and agreed graphics affects editing work. Additional versions need to be defined.
Travel and location: the package includes U.S. travel, with requirements reflected in the final quote.
Platform work: clarify the course structure, uploads and access requirements. Discuss migration, marketing and integrations explicitly rather than treating them as automatic inclusions.
Separate production from ongoing operating costs
A production quote and the costs of operating a course are different budgeting questions. Ask who pays for platform subscriptions, payment processing, advertising, outside licenses and any continuing administration. This page does not publish third-party platform prices or assume they are included in the production package.
It is also sensible to plan for future updates. If your subject changes frequently, organize lessons so an individual explanation can be replaced without rebuilding the entire course. The update process and any ongoing work should be agreed separately.
How to compare course creation proposals
Ask each provider to describe the same intended result. Compare the agreed content volume, filming days, editing scope, platform build, review process and final deliverables. A lower total may represent a smaller scope rather than a more efficient route to the same result.
Confirm ownership and licensing, access to raw footage or project files, revision arrangements, payment terms and what happens if the scope changes. We do not invent universal terms on this page; the written agreement should settle them before work begins.
What to bring to your pricing conversation
Bring a course outline, estimated lesson count and length, existing slides or guides, your filming location and a sample of any recorded footage. Tell us which platform you intend to use, who will approve the course and whether there is a date the project needs to support.
If you do not have every detail yet, identify the decisions that are still open. The course creation process starts with planning, not an assumption that every project is identical. A discovery call helps turn those inputs into a defined scope and exact quote.
